Right of withdrawal & returns

Cancellation policy & cancellation form

Consumers are entitled to a right of revocation according to the following provisions, whereby a consumer is any natural person who concludes a legal transaction for purposes which can predominantly be attributed neither to his commercial nor to his independent professional activity:

Right of withdrawal
You have the right to revoke this contract within seven days without giving any reason.

The revocation period is seven days from the day on which you or a third party named by you, who is not the carrier, has or has taken possession of the last goods.

We do not accept the return of items that have been washed, worn or have had their labels removed.

In order to exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform us (Aleyna Albay, Albay Boutique, Friedrich-Alfred-Straße 95, 47226 Duisburg, Germany, e-mail: info@albay-boutique.de) of your decision to withdraw from this contract by means of a clear declaration (e.g. a letter or e-mail sent by post).

To comply with the revocation period, it is sufficient that you send the notification of the exercise of the right of revocation before the expiry of the revocation period.

Consequences of cancellation
If you cancel this contract, we must refund all payments we have received from you, excluding delivery costs and return costs, without delay and at the latest within fourteen days of the day on which we received notification of your cancellation of this contract. Repayments will be made in the form of vouchers or exchange of goods. We may refuse to refund you until we have received the goods back or until you have provided proof that you have returned the goods, whichever is the earlier.

You must return or hand over the goods to us without undue delay and in any event no later than seven days from the day on which you notify us of the cancellation of this contract. The deadline is met if you send the goods before the end of the seven-day period.

You shall bear the direct costs of returning the goods.

You only have to pay for any loss in value of the goods if this loss in value is due to handling of the goods that is not necessary for checking the condition, properties and functioning (cleanliness) of the goods.

Exclusion or premature expiry of the right of withdrawal
The right of withdrawal expires prematurely for contracts for the delivery of sealed goods which are not suitable for return for reasons of health protection or hygiene if their seal has been removed after delivery.

Promotional vouchers and gift certificates

If you are returning an order where a promotional voucher or discount code has been used, certain conditions apply to the refund. The refund amount will be calculated according to the minimum order value set for the voucher code. This means that if the returned items reduce the total value of the order below the minimum order value of the voucher code, only the discounted value of the goods will be refunded.

General notes

1) Please avoid damaging or contaminating the goods. Please return the goods to us in the original packaging with all accessories and with all packaging components. If necessary, use protective outer packaging. If you no longer have the original packaging, please use suitable packaging to ensure adequate protection against transport damage.

2) Please do not return the goods to us freight collect.

3) Please note that the aforementioned items 1-2 are not a prerequisite for the effective exercise of the right of withdrawal.
